Question

I'm looking for a doc reader/editor program that will allow me to take notes on my visor (with a go type or a stowaway), and then put them on my pc in Word. Is there software that is particularly suited for this?

Also, what's the difference between Tealdoc, Aportis and the others.. are they all just readers?

Thanks for help/suggestions!

QED (available at www.visionary2000.com) is a good editing program. I have been usung ut for a couple of months and it works well with imported documents. The only problem is that you will need Documents To Go in order to import the Word files.

both isilo (www.isilo.com) and tealdoc (www.tealpoint.com) are good readers.

How about HandDBase?

HanDBase is a Database not a doc reader or editor. I am evaluating it next to JFile right now. Think I am going to go for JFile instead.

Thumbs up

I use TealDoc and I love it. After using an uregistered copy of AportisDoc for years, I finally did a little research and registered TealDoc. One nice thing about is that it allows you to view images and create "folders" so you can categorize different books or reference materials by title. AportisDoc simply lumped all the chapters into a single view.

richard,

You said you're evaluating databases right now. When I did my eval, I chose MobileDB and purchased that. I have now taken a look at ThinkDB and really like the look of that product.
