After using my Deluxe for over a year, I could not hold out any longer and bought a Prism today. It's still charging. Hope I will not be disappointed.

I've had a Palm V, a Casio EM 500 and my Prism. I love it. Its a great machine and a good friend.

Anybody had any paint problems with their unit?

The very first Prism that I bought had a really bad paint job. The paint was not flaking off or anything, it just looked like it dried with a huge run in it. Right on the front top where the "Flip" sticker is. I replaced it with a new one and the only problems it had were on the back. Seems like sliding the Prism in and out of the included case wore the paint of a couple of spots on back. I ended up dropping it and having it replaced (gotta love protection plans). My new one is doing basically the same thing. It is very minor, but annoying. I just consider it part of the deal. A person not looking for it would probably never notice and I certainly would not hesitate to purchase a Prism just because of this.

Post Day one complete

I have a little buyers remorse due to the price of the unit. But that should fade with time I have had some crashes, all of them in Multimail. Two were cured by a reset, one caused a infinite loop that could only be cleared by a hard reset. (Thanks backup module). The only real "problem" I have with the unit is the digitizer. I use launcher III and taping on any icon that is at the top of the screen is difficult. I have also noticed that the digitizer in general, is just not very accurate in all around use as my VDX. I really like how easy it is to see the screen compared to my VDX. My rating of the Prism 3.5 out of 5 stars!

My first Prism had paint problems on the bottom where it sits in the cradle. I returned it for a new one.

Smile I got mine too!

My wife was tired of hearing me talk about the Prism, so she went out and got me one for my birthday (1 month early, to shut me up). Splash photo was nice on my VDx, its awesome on my Prism . I can now track my blood pressure in color. And BigClock is too cool with the themes . I won't say that monochrome suck's (I had my VDx for a little over a year), but now that I have color I'll never go back!!! Now all I need is more color apps and a little more memory (Memplug, here I come!).
