Unhappy

I recently dropped my VDX and the glass (under the plastic) cracked. My visor still turns on , will hotsync, and the buttons work but won't respond to the screen. I was told that I have to pay $85 and handspring sends me a new one and I send this one back. Is that true? It's notpossible to fix it?

Unless you've found a way to glue glass back together and have it not show then you can't fix it.
Actually, the problem is probably not the glass, but the sensor that detects the stylus.
The good news is that Handspring will replace the unit for free the first time, and charge 85 dollars any time after that.

John,

I doubt that it can be fixed.

I friend of mine dropped his visor over the weekend and called handspring on monday. He got the new one yesterday.

BTW, he wasn't charged for the replacement and he wasn't under warranty.

Give them a call to see what they say.

Felipe

My Treo 600 is my phone, my PDA, my watch, and my MP3 player. Oh yeah, I take a picture once in a while with it. Convergence is such a great thing.
