-- Updates from Innogear: *Six*-Pack, New Springboards, Retail Outlets, More! (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=5520)
Innogear has outstanding customer service! Below is some more information about Innogear and its upcoming products, as provided by Innogear president & CFO, Bob Fullerton:
* = question
** - Mr. Fullerton's answer
---------------------------------------
* Inogear.com lists the 6-Pak as "SixPack(tm) - Available Summer 2000" - When will it become available online? What is the time-table for retail outlets?
**I cannot speak for retail outlets, as we are focused first on our web site sales, Handspring's accessory site, and a few other key Internet outlets, but SixPack should be ready soon for pre-orders and shipping soon after.
I need to check on current schedule for more specifics. We plan to eventually be at every key retail location where Visors are sold.

* I read on VisorCentral that the voice-recording feature of the 6-Pak has been removed (i.e. the 6-Pack no longer replaces a mini-cassette recorder) Is that true? Are there plans to add the feature in models? (Any idea of when?)
**Not true...someone started off on a chat room with the wrong information; we are still a SixPack that includes Voice Recording.

* Mr. Fullerton stated on VisorCentral that Innogear is working on Springboard friendly cases...are there any other products under development? (any other Springboards?)
**Yes, plenty, but we are not at liberty to say anything other than "stay tuned"!

* Lastly, does Innogear have any plans for an IPO?
**Not in the very near future....we are still pretty young and totally focused on getting our first family of products to market....we plan to be the leaders in the Palm accessory business.

What is your take on this news?
(hmm..."stay tuned" for new modules - does anyone know what Innogear has up their sleeves?)
my take??
these are non-answers

Ditto
Agreed. "Soon" is a non-answer. The "someone" on VisorCentral got the "wrong information" from Innogear's FAQ page, which only listed five features , not six (Count 'em. I pasted a copy of product description on another thread.)
