-- Stylus trails? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=416)
I've got a simple little question for those of you who've recieved your Visor. Are there any stylus trails while you write in the grafitti-area? I've got a friend who've got a WinCE, and when he writes, he can see both what he has written, and what he is writing in realtime.. or in other words. He can see the paths of the character/symbol he's writing at the moment.
Does Visor offer that? Not that's it's really important.

If you mean on the silkscreen, no. It is only touch sensitive, there is no actual display there. Same with all Palms.
The closest thing I've seen is (I think) TealEcho, which mimics on-screen the movement of your stylus as you write. However, the 'echo' appears in the main area of the screen. Hope this helps.
With as long as Teal Echo has been around, I've only just tried it. I've found that recognition has improved a bit, now that I can see just how poor my writing really is. (Your mileage may vary)

The silkscreen is a input-only field then? No screen output in this area, ok.
Well then, thanks alot for your help.

It's not like I'm very satisfied with my own writing.. My writing is really bad, and it will be even worse when I recieve the Palm
But of course you are able to make Visor recognize your own writing.. and by default it hates italics
everyone:
Is it so that the WinCE and Visor communicates in different ways? Is it possible to use a hack or something to be able to beam with WinCE-users? I want to be able to send short messages with my Visor in class you see. (without the teacher noticing
). What programs would you recommend for beaming small messages.. or having a chat without a modem?
