-- Looking for a wallet replacement case (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=3560)
Anyone have a case that actually holds a Visor and a decent amount of credit cards and cash?? I'm not necessarily looking for leather and definitely not looking for a belt clip. I ordered a case online and was disappointed because it fell apart and was not what I expected.
It is difficult to see what you're getting from a little picture on a webpage. Any suggestions????
I bought such a wallet when I was in the US in October. It was made for the PalmIII, but the Visor still fights.
I got this at a luggage shop in a shopping mall. I can't precisely read the label, but it looks something like Lodus. It zips up, which I actually have grown to like, since credit cards aren't going to fall out. It has 5 credit card slots, a flap under the cards where I keep bills folded up. The Visor is secured with a small strip of velcro, which fits perfectly on the back of the handspring cover. It also has an outside pocket, for presumably pocket change, but that would really bulk the thing out, so I just keep some loose papers in there. While it would be much nicer with a PalmV, it still isn't any fatter than my last wallet - which had tons of scraps of paper, of which the info is now all in the Visor. I've been perfectly happy with this.
I have the DVP3 case from devian www.devian.com
it is also available from www.palmgear.com
It holds 6 to 7 credit cards, a drivers license a note pad, cash, spare stylus or short pen/pencil and the visor.
It is thick with the visor in place but slips comfortably in to the front pocket.
it has a zipper closure and after a month of use it shows no signs of wear.
I think it cost about $30.00 but I jst don't remember.
Order the one for the Palm III series and it will work just fine
