-- Six Pack - Cell Phone Port (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=10304)
I noticed recently that the Innogear page now says it will have a cell phone port. I believe it used to say cell phone modem. Has this changed or did I just not notice it said port earlier? I planned on buying one if it ever came out so I could use it with my Star Tac on Verizon. If it now does not include a cell phone modem the attraction of the Six Pack is now significantly reduced.
Any thought?
I can't tell you what it used to say (I usually don't remember what I had for lunch
), but most CDMA carriers have the modems physically at the central offices, not in the phones themselves (at least that is the case with SprintPCS). The connector most likely just offers the connection between the module and phone (the cell phone taking the place of a traditional landline).
