I, for one, am interested in the Jeff Hawkins interview because the M&M crew from VisorCentral have spent the last three weeks reading many of our comments, concerns and complaints and I am hoping they got some of those questions answered by Mr. Hawkins.

It is interesting that a guy who three weeks ago we never heard of, puts up a website and in short order commands an interview with an individual who has made (and will continue to make) an important impact on life as we know it. Bravo!

Now, the big question is when will we see the report, guys? I'm thinking it'll make some interesting lunchtime reading.

I still have to type it up... But college is calling (have one of those darn calculus tests tonight) so I will file the interview after the test, about 11-12 pm EST.

Okay, Marcus, thanks. I hope to see it after I get home from Jujitsu practice tonight.

For those who are interested, Hal-J of Palmstation.com has posted a brief overview of his discussion with Jeff Hawkins and the Handspring folks at the Internet World conference. Check it out at www.palmstation.com

Hal does answer the question about Flash memory and HS' plans for OS 3.1 -> 3.3 -> 4.0

"I also had the chance to chat with Jeff Hawkins for a few minutes. Without giving me an exact date, he hinted towards the fact that if you ordered a Visor by phone when they were first announced, you should be getting them 'soon'." (From the hal-j palmstation post)

<laugh> What a friggin' tease. "Soon". <laugh>

Nice to hear another person describe the Visors as sturdy, though.
