Jefferson Didn't Believe in Protection

Mark, there seems to be pretty good historical data that Jefferson didn't use protection at all - screen or otherwise.
- Places a whole new meaning on "Give me liberty, or give me death" - doesn't it?
- I can't wait for the movie or TV series.

Wink

I saw an orange visor ad in the bus stop at the corner of both Henderson rd. and S Gulph rd in King of Prussia, PA.

Do you guys suppose that the visor is of alien technology?

Boy, they REALLY didn't want anyone to know what this was!!! Tehy took a visor in a Palm case, chopped off the bottom so there aren't any buttons, made it thinner than a Palm V and made the bottom curved like a palm V!!!

What a messed up unit that is!

The only way to mess it up more is to add a piece of a M$ unit!

A woman who looks like that can do whatever she wants with her palm. I'm not going to stop her.

That page had a message that said "Roll over an item on my desk to find out more about it." However the only item that seamed to work was the pile of Photos. So I looked at the source for that page, and did a little poking around. Obviously the page has some errors or omissions. But, what I can tell, the way it should have worked was: If you selected her "Palm Top" device one would have received the page http://www.bedazzledmovie.com/me/palm/sept1.html. Her Palm Top device is a Hotspot 666. Basically a red Palm VII with no button (voice control?) and a higher resolution screen.

Another Visor sighting

I saw a BIG billboard with a Blue Visor Deluxe and saying something like "Visor Is... anything you want it to be."

Looks like Handspring is spending big bucks to gear up for the holiday season. (Probably why the Prism cost $449 )

There is a Blue Visor on the back cover of Country Home Magazine, Dec. issue.

Exclamation Charlie's visor!!!

I don't know if anyone has seen the trailor to the new Charlie's Angels movie, but I could have sworn I saw in one scene Lucy Liu handling a graphite Visor...I don't know what is being viewed on it though. If anyone else has seen it...post a thread about the content...otherwise I'll just wait to go see the movie!!!

There "IS" a full page "vISor" add in the Nov. issue of Golf Digest. Featuring the Eyemodule. Of course the Visor is "green", but you would think they would have the Intelligolf or Tiger Woods module in it.

Another big billboard:
Orange VDx w/ DateBook on screen, "VISOR having a nice day", off the I55 @ the Katella exit in Anaheim, CA. I couldn't tell which DateBook it was though.

And it didn't tell you to get off the 55 and point you directly at Fry's?

Cool They must be growing them

At school, Visors are poping up all over the place. Why just last week (10/26/00) my friend and I were playing around with my VDx with a new program that I got (FireViewer). A teacher came by and instead of the normal reaction of "Are those things allowed "(which they are) he said "Do you have a drawing program because I have been looking for one" and pulled out another VDx. Another friend, the teacher and I were beaming programs to eachother for about 5 minutes. The only people who were not in the Handspring party was yet another friend of mine who has a Palm X (and brags that it WON'T pull your pants down if you put it in your pocket) and the first friend who was initially playing around with FireViewer who has a CE handheld.

Needless to say, I think that right now my VDx is more popular than myself in school right now.

Did you say Palm X? Don't you mean Palm IX?! With the size of those things how could that NOT pull your pants down?!?!

Frankly, I've never had to worry about my Visor pulling my pants down. It's nice to me than that, and after all, my wallet is heavier than it is! (Besides, I wear a belt!)

In my hall alone in my dorm, there are 3 Visor Users (I have a Visor, another has a VDx and a third has a VDx and a VPlat) And we also have one person with an old Palm III.

That's not even mentioning all the people I run in to in class with them!

Must be nice. I'm the only one with a visor in any of my classes (and one of a very small minority in Aberdeen, SD who even own a pda). It'll be a while before I see any posters for visor (or Palm or wince) here. The beaming feature on my visor hasn't even been used yet. Although I've found a new definition for optimism: my beam receive is always set to on, just in case.

Cool

Two more sightings:
1) Same billboard I mentioned above, but off the I405 near the I710
2) A bus stop in Torrance, CA. Ice VDx, caption is something like "Visor what you make it"

Very funny that Palm IX!

you guy's in the dorm should try out 'palmgun' it is a little game that lets you play lasertag/laserquest with the IR port of your Palm/Visor. It is a lot off fun we play around with it with all the propellorheads in the office...
My Visor seems to have a better range than my collegues Vx's so I kick their butt
I know it is kinda inmature, but life is serious enough to stop having silly fun...
