Topographic map for Palm?
Did a search here, and couldn't find anything. Does anyone know of a topographic app for the palm (with GPS locators maybe?)

Yep! Delorme has some very impressive looking topographic software that can be linked to their Earthmate GPS receiver. They offer coverage of the full USA for what seems to me like a very reasonable price.
Unfotunately I don't live in the US, so I've decided to give Atlas 5.05 of GPS Pilot a whirl. I've just started playing with it, so I can't really give you alot of detail about how well it works. Theoretically you can create any map from any source (paper, digital, internet) which is great. The drawback to this software is that it is not "readymade", and that creating PDA usable maps maps does require some tinkering and experimentation. This can be very time consuming until you get a routine figured out.
Anyway, here are the links to each site:

Good Luck
Yes, Delorme has one called Solus Pro 3.0. I have the Solus Pro 2.0 and it works with Topo USA. Topo USA is topographic package for the Windows platform. It cost around $90 at staples. TopoUSA allow you to save a pdb file so the Solus Pro 2.x and 3.x will recognize. The Solus Pro also have GPS enabled.
