I've been noticing a trend here. It seems that those that have received their Visors within the last 20 to 30 days are getting significantly longer battery life than those that receive earlier Visors. I got mine in mid November of 1999 and only get between 11 and 12 hours of "on" time (according to Runtime), and that's with NiMH batteries.

I'd be interested in how long it lasts with alkalines. And did you adjust your battery settings?
If it's any consolation, my don't last very long either, and I got my Visor 2 weeks ago. Dunno how many hours exactly though.

I've read in other places that 11 hours for NiMH is common.
