Talking Innogear Minijam

I know nothing about MP3 players and am considering the Innogear Minijam for my Prism. I noticed where Innogear will sell just the unit for $69 without the multimedia card. The price goes up considerably when you add memory cards to the unit.

I am considering buying the base unit and purchasing a 32mb mmd card from cititronics.com to save some money. I do have some questions that I would like advice on.

1. Is 32mb enough? How much music time can be stored on 32mb?

2. Is the Innogear the only horse in the race or are there alternative MP3 modules?

3. Does the Innogear have any on-board memory?

Thanks for the help.

1. 32mb is roughly around 8 songs at 128 encoding.
2. Currently Innogear is the only Visor Mp3 Player in the market. Soundsgood 64mb player has stopped making their module. You can still find some on ebay and such but i believe tech support is done with.
3. Innogear does not have any on board memory for mp3's but it does have flash rom for it's software and 1mb for removable visor memeory. ( enough for a couiple of small games you only play when listening to mp3s)

I am seeling my 128mb Ice MiniJam module for 95 shipped if you are interested. I bought a stand alone mps player and no longer need the Minijam, If your interested e-mail me at [email protected]
