Often if you think people are going to get angry at you I think you shouldn't say it.

Its YOUR fault you let it get stolen, if your going to bring it to school you better keep an eye on the thing. I've brought mine to school everysingle day since I got it and you knew where I keep it? In my jacket's front pocket, where no one will be able to get to it.

What you were asking was to do to Handspring what someone did to you. I hate to get cliche about this, but two wrongs don't make a right. Buy a new one, I owuldn't be surprised if you were the one who lost it anyways...

Unhappy

Sorry to hear of your loss.

Now, please, dont take this the wrong way but did you read what you wrote before posting? You ask if there is a way to cheat Handspring and then wonder "what's wrong with these people"?

You are a student? Try looking at the English textbook. Your posting is nearly unintelligible. Aside from the horrific spelling, punctuation and grammar, your sentences can make a man dizzy.

It is sad enough to hear about a Visor being stolen but to try and suffer through your posting, your attempt to aid abet and commit fraud and petty larceny to cover for your careless behavior is nearly unbearable.

Again, I am sorry to hear of your loss but you need to reexamine your values.

oh well, nothing ever changes, does it?

Do you think there is any chance of a possible lie i could make up to tell Handspring so they could send me another one? OK, people are probaly gonna hate me now for trying to cheat handspring. But my friend, that is the way the world gos round.

Hmmm. You ask what's wrong with "these people." Maybe you should ask what's wrong with you. Are you any better than they when you want to cheat Handspring?

You must remember that it IS NOT Handspring's fault that your Visor got lost or stolen. Trying to "cheat" them would not accomplish anything except to reduce you to the same level as the low-life who is now carrying around your Visor.

If I am not mistaken, you had a Visor up for sale in the Buy/Sell/Trade discussion, that means that at one time you had an extra. Try going back to the person who you sold it to and see if you can buy it back. And if you do end up buying a new one you just need the Solo b/c you already have the cradle.

I got my wallet and watch stolen out of my backpack when I was at gym and since the lockers barely fit my clothes, I couldn't put my bag in it. Luckily, the theives missed the most valuable thing in my bag, my 100 dollar Ti-85 graphing calculator. But I got a new watch and new wallet and since that I've been a lot smarter with my stuff, now if I leave my bag out I'll take out anything valuable (pager, visor *when I get it!*, wallet, etc.) and put it in my locker. You can't trust people, and you don't seem to trustworthy yourself...trying to rip off handspring? Give me a break! My advice, get a visor solo since you most likely have all the stuff that deluxe came with already. And that's only 150 bux compared to almost 300.

For the person that said i need to study english: IF you have it saved for some reason could you post it. #1 reason. I just got a new laptop. And since i have never typed on A keyboard before, it screwed me up.
#2 reason. i typed it extremly fast since i was so angry.

Dev Ray,

When I first read of your experience where you had your Visor stolen from school, my first thought of the that locale was perhaps the student center, library or a lab. After reading your most recent post, I am convinced that your "loss" happened right after your class was dismissed to the cafeteria or someone took it from the playground during recess. Perhaps you were not ready for a Visor to begin with. Thanks. ......Scout

So let me get this straight: You asked us how to cheat Handspring and now your mad at us because we think you are no better than whomever stole you Visor to begin with?

Grumpy ol' man is right, you need to check your values.

What is with all these handspring lovers? Isnt this message board suppose to be friendly? BTW, does anyone have my original message? Cause I would like to repost it before you all pick apart my words.

The bottom line is that Handspring has absolutely NOTHING to do with the fact that your Visor is gone. To attempt to "cheat" them would be the same as asking General Motors for a new car when your Chevy gets stolen. The real world just doesn't work this way. Perhaps you might look into whether or not there's any possibility that you have insurance coverage for a loss such as this.

I'm amazed that you are wondering why people are so angry. Because YOU were irresponsible and got your visor stolen, you're asking people to lie and steal from a company offering a product that just about everyone here owns and it WOULDN'T be a good idea for them because if the company tanks, then there will be no updates or springboard modules. I do feel bad for you, having gotten my stuff stolen, but I'm just kinda surprised that you don't get why everyone is mad.
