Is there a Car Adapter for the Visor Deluxe?
So I can operate without draining my batteries? (I realize
the batteries won't charge; I just want to avoid draining them.)
Also, would this connector provide power just for the visor,
or also for the module (say a GPS module which has separate batteries)?
All Visors except Prism and Edge do not have wiring from the bottom connector to the battery. You can use chargers from Full Charge or I.C.U that connect through the battery door. The lower connector will charge some modules in all Visors

My Treo has more memory than I do.
The above post is true... but if you're a little adventurous and your warranty has expired, you can change your Visor 2MB or Deluxe into a rechargeable model that works with the Prism/Neo/Pro charging cradle, as well as any travel chargers for those models.
It will cost you about $7 USD ($10 CAD), involving the purchase of a set of four rechargeable batteries, two diodes, and a resistor. It'll probably take you about a day (an afternoon if you're proficient with a soldering iron), and works great if you've wired everything up properly. I've been using my Visor for a month and a half after modifying it, and the battery levels are still around 3v.
