everytime i try to backup my visor deluxe now. . it freezes a varifing databases. . and just sits there. what should i do. . i have no memory leaks from hacks or anything. and when i do a soft reset it resets fine. please help me if u could IM me on AIM or ICQ or leave a message on my website. thank you. i owe u my life if u help me.

You left out a selection from your poll: "Yes, but I fixed it, and I know what I did to fix it."

I had this problem the very first time I used my Backup Module. The fix was very simple: Turn off Afterburner

MY overclocker did the same thing.
(well my UNregestered overclocker)

I would think that things that screw up IR and the USB conneciton, would also screw up springboards.

I dont have afterburner on my visor. i took it off a long time ago before it messed up. so when i last backed it up. it was not overclocked. any other suggestions? thanks for your time though.

Arrow I FIXED IT

ok this is what u do. back up on ur computer. . then reformat ur visor then back that up. . on the module. .and it worked. . then get your computer stuff back on it. . then back it up again. now it works just like before IM SOO HAPPY!

Bingo. Exactly my situation. The only times I've ever had the problem have been with AfterBurner.
