Okay - this is about the 20th time this has happened, so I'm finally going to ask about this. I just placed my Visor (Deluxe) into the USB sync cradle - didn't touch sync button at all - and my work PC reset it self (a hard reset, like using reset button) and booted itself back up.

Revelant versions of software:
Windows 2000
HotSync Manager 3.1.0 H
on the Handspring is Palm OS 3.1H3

In the past, I've reinstalled Palm Desktop and/or the Hotsync Manager to get it to work

Has anyone here experienced anything like this? Is the problem with my USB drivers, my Dell PC, or what? Any ideas or sugggestions would be helpful.

I had this same exact problem a little while ago, and I think that the way that I fixed it was by uninstalling the palm desktop, and then installing the new version of it.
