Strange SoundsGood problem.

I've had my SoundsGood module for a while, no problems before. Now, there's something weird going on.

When I put the module in the Visor, it says it is empty. When I put it in the cradle, go into GoodConnect mode, and start up the GoodDesktop on my PC, two songs keep loading again and again, in an apparrent endless loop.

I tried hard resetting the visor, re-installing the Palm Desktop s/w, and running the Flash Reset option on the module. Nothing helped.

I've emailed soundsgood support at palmgear, but they don't have any quick answers, and as I've had it for more than 90 days, they won't replace it. I wondered if anyone here has any insights into this.

Thanks in advance

Dennis

Update: PalmGear states that SoundsGood won't work with Palm Desktop 4.x, although I pretty sure I had been using them together for some time. Can anyone confirm or refute this? (In fact, I'm not sure what the Palm Desktop has to do with it, as the SoundsGood doesn't use it or any conventional conduits.)

i'm sure you tried this but if you didn't:

1. put the visor in the cradle
2. run good connect
3. run good desktop
4. highlight the two songs
5. click remove.
6. click move.

Thanks, but it won't work. As fast as I can remove them, it keeps adding them, again and again.

Solved my own problem. It actually had nothing to do with the module. There was a corrupted .m3u file in the GoodDesktop/Repository/Inbox folder. Once I deleted this, all was well.

And yes, despite what the PalmGear support people tell you, it works fine with Palm Desktop 4.
