Edge screen protectors
What screen protectors (as in things like the Nushield) will fit the edge? I am about to get mine and don't want to end up with a dull screen. I got one of the last silver edges and wonder if I'm lucky to havae bought it or not, we'll see!!!

Made to fit each device, awesome protection.
the prices on those things are outrageous, what are the advantages?

Well, if you want the best you'll usually have to pay for it...
There are links to reviews on his site, I use them religiously. Perfect clarity, a pain to install. If you want cheap you don't want these...but you'll suffer with a blurry screen.
Brandos are also very nice, but I believe they're the same in price.
Its whatever you'll find acceptable.
If you want cheap ones (better than writerights, though)
go to www.freescreenprotectors.com
and enter the code "FREESP" during checkout...
you can get 12 for just $6.95 shipping...

hmm... those reviews say good things, but I think I'd have to look at my PDA before deciding on buying some G2s or not, I wonder how easy it is to get something as thick as that under the screen cover!
I also saw someone say that if they're not propperly centered it can run down your battery in just a little while, how do you center them if they have no marks for reference? anyone had this problem with em?

The CompanionLink ones have worked the best for me---
Just make one at home! I used the smooth plastic off some photo wallet from walmart when i got some pictures developed there. Just takes a little time to cut it to the right size with a ruler and a razor. Looks absolutely perfect!

And They're Companion Link brand -- They work great! -- Only five bucks even without the coupon (FREESP)
Got my edge (must say it's kicking ass) and I've ordered G2s for it but bought a stick on one to tide me over (can't remember the brand) that really sucks since it scratches real easy. thanks for all the info ppl

As a rule of thumb, the cheaper the screen protector is, the easier it scratches (or has some other weakness). I found Radio Shack protectors to scratch in just a minute of doodling circles on the screen.
SOME people have problems with G2's (which is my favorite, with Brando a CLOSE second!). Some people crease the protector trying to put it on, one person claims the sharp edges of the protector scratched his screen, and I did see a comment about one causing some drain when it was somehow making something connect. Some people think the G2 causes a lot of glare, or are hard to install 'clean', etc...
...but a LOT of people find them to be an excellent protector- tough, clear, scratch resistant, washable and reuseable, and well-fitted to their device.
Yeah, the package of 2 G2s costs about the same as a package of 8 or 12 of some other brands, but one G2 will easily outlast several packages of most protectors on the market.

G2's arrived
well... I got the G2s, the shipping time was amazing considering I'm in chile, found it impossible to install without getting the screen dirty tho, I'm a climber and I'll have to use pumice on my hands before I put the next one on.
they look alot better than the cheapass piece o'crap I had on there last time tho!
thanks for all the advice!

I know it sounds crazy, but if you go into a bathroom and run a hot shower for a couple minutes to build up some humidity, the moisture in the air actually pulls the dust out of the air.
You can then clean the screen as best a possible and put in the G2.
It is definitely a trick to install. Good luck!

I bought some screen protectors from Belkin at clearance prices. Thank god it was cheap clearance cause these things suck. Way too hazy. My home made ones are far better. I'm assuming these are the same quality as the WriteRights from Fellowes.

I agree--
I know Writerights are very popular -- but they dull the screen --
CompanionLinks are great -- clear -- long lasting and first set free--or five bux thereafter at--
