Hi All,
Here's an idea I would like to throw around:
Can a Visor module be made to radio remotely control the toy cars, airplanes, boats etc..?
The toys that uses these radio remote control devices.
I guess some FCC regulation standard will have to be made first.

Guess someone, like Futaba, would need to make a module for the Visor.

I doubt the signal strength would be enough for the standard RC aircraft or automobile. The batteries in the standard transmitter are much stronger than 2 AAA's.

But, there's probably no major technical hurdle to do it, someone would just have to sit down and make it happen.

Interesting idea. Though I would think that using a Visor to control an RC vehicle would be kind of difficult using the touch screen.

How about a programmable remote that you can program via the visor (either by plugging it into the springboard connector of via infrared). That would sure make it easier to program the remote and you could then store an unlimited number of profiles.

Hi,
I see what you mean. How about also on these thoughts that say you can make a module like a flight recorder (black-box)on a aircraft or a missile. The Visor could store the data for future research. Maybe even a weather balloon or one of those tornado data devices could hold a springboard module?

I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about. A data acquisition module.

Uh, did anyone mention that remote controls for rc vehicles take like 12 AA batteries?
