-- Select All Command in Address Book (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=2216)
I am trying to delete all my contacts in my address book. Is there an easy way to do this? I tried using the select all command from the pull down menu, and it doesnt seem to work. When you choose it does it highlight all of you addresses?
I just want to delete all addresses then reload them thru hot syncing. I have double and sometime triple address, and I dont want to delete them individually.
Thanks
You should be able to simply have your desk computer overwrite your visor.
In the palm desktop, go to the hot synch menu. Select "custom". In the window that comes up, select your address book, be it the palm desktop or Outlook, and select "change"
In the window that opens select the option to have the desktop overwrite the Visor. Click on OK and then hot synch your Visor.
Your Visor should now have only the addresses that are in your desktop software and no duplicates.
Don't forget to reset the option to synchronize when you are done

There is a wonderful little program called "undupe" that will delete all the duplicate entries for you. I absolutely love it! You can down load it from palmgear.com
