-- Uptime vs Runtime (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=2178)
Hi all,
I need some help.
I'm using Runtime 1.4 and Uptime 1.2b3.
The two programs do not agree on the actual runtime on my VDx. They coincide for the elapsed time since my last battery change, but Uptime always reports more runtime (power-on) than Runtime. I don't know which one is accurate, or if this is a side-effect of a hack or something.
For example, today:
Runtime 5d 3:36 7:01
Uptime 5d 3:36 9:32
Pretty significant difference, eh!
Is anyone willing to install Uptime next to Runtime and see if they can replicate this? I like both programs, but I want an accurate measurement!
Jeff

I'm thinking it has to do with the hack from Uptime. Anyone know why Uptime needs a hack to tell how long the PDA has been on while Runtime does not?
If I disable the hack, Uptime doesn't list any runtime at all anymore.
