Help! Digital camera woes

Hello all, haven't posted here in a while. But i'm hoping you can help me out.

I recently purchased a brand new Nikon CoolPix 775, we bought it for our trip to Hawaii, the day that we got it my Daughter borrowed it and it worked on her computer, we took it to Hawaii and clicked our hearts out. Now that we have arrived back at home I am trying to import them onto my computer, with no sucess. Everything goes fine but then when I open up the program none of the pics show up. Does anyone out there have any suggestions?

I'm POSITIVE I didnt tell you all of the required information, but I told you all I could think of at the time. So just ask me any questions you want and i'll do my best to answer. Thannks all.

Maybe you could do a hard drive search for *.jpg, the program may not be looking for the pictures in the directory the camera saves them to, or not!
