Anyone know how much is backed up to the PC when you sync? I'm very close to upgrading my Visor standard with an 8MB DRAM chip (I have access to the needed tools).

But I want to be absolutly sure that I get ALL of my data off the existing 2MB DRAM internal chip. So does hot syncing get just the data? Would I have to reinstall the apps once I get the 8MB up and running?

On the Mac a Users folder is created which contains a backup subfolder. I expect the same is true on the PC; you'll just have to find it to see if everything is there.
After looking at my own backups folder it appears (though I have not doublechecked) that all files are backed up -- prc's and pdb's.
I even still have backups of files I trashed months ago.
