As I live in Norway, and Handspring will not ship internationally before Q1 2000, I was wondering whether anyone knows when the Visor will be sold in stores in the US. I travel to the US ever so often so I was hoping to pick one up at COMPUSA or something.

I guess there will be delays for shop sale too as there are probably plenty of backorders.

Your best chance is eBay for a fast Visor (a few seller do export).

Another chance is ordering a Visor from HS and have it delivered to a USA address, then pick it up when you go next time. HS allows you to pay with your credit card and ship to another address.

PS: if you consider treason and plan to buy a Palm, be aware that most online shops don't export, after you find an online shop which does - most likely they will not export any Palm product, since they are only allowed to sell in the USA. And if you really find one - it will probably not be cheap. That's my experience.

We can only dream of $289 Palm V or $189 IIIx
