According to this post(English Translation) of the Hi-PDA.com discussion board, a new Visor is due to be introduced in april when Handspring opens up the Chinese market. The new Visor is gonna be about half of the thickness of current models. The support for Springboard will be accomplished by a 'sleeve' solution similar to iPaq models.

egad, what a nightmare if HS is even considering an IPAQ-like sleeve. I've used the IPAQ for about a year and absolutely HATE the sleeve. The unit w/o sleeve is trim and elegant. With sleeve, bulky and a pain to carry around. What a headache to be thinking about sleeve attachements. The SB is so successful b/c it integrates FULLY into the Visor form.
