yeah, same here, but I heard that GoType keyboard is too small for typing. You constant tab other keys. Also, it is harder to carry it around due to its size

I think I'm going to go for it. I know I'm going to need to do some typing in places where I'd never be able to use the Stowaway. If I'm too unhappy with the GoType, I can always get the Stowaway for use in more civilized conditions . . .

I went to Think Outside's site, where the company boasts on its home page, "The wait is over!" I went through the motions of ordering one just for a reality check. I got an alert dialog informing me that the Stowaway I place in the shopping cart was on back order, and the estimated due date was 3.22.00. So hang in there.

Question

Don't you have to go to Targus' website? www.targus.com
ThinkOutside is not distributing the Visor version, while Targus is, and the release dates for the different models are different. Targus has posted a mid-March release date.

I personally think the GoType! Keyboards are crap. the keys are WAY TOO SMALL, the key travel distance is too shallow, and you really can't use it in your lap anyway (which seems to be the biggest nit pick going on about the Foldable keyboard) because the Handheld makes the kayboard fall over backwards. The only way to keep it upright is with your legs held together to catch the little extandable plastic tab that comes out the back for support, which, needless to say, is quite uncomfortable for men to do

Gameboy:

The "wait is over" refers to the Palm keyboard, not the Visor one. ThinkOutside will NOT be selling the Visor model directly... you'll need to get it from Targus.

I sent Targus several e-mails on the release date of the stowaway keyboard, but haven't get any reply from them yet..

Gosh, can't wait for it to come out

So there are now three keyboards for the Visor... the Genovation Travelboard works with the Visor serial cradle...

I'm going to post a separate message about this, but has anyone used the Travelboard? It's rather nice looking, and more versatile because the same keyboard works with Windows CE and Palm as well... basically anything with a serial port.

I have been using the GoType with my Palm and have little problems. I have large hands, but I am not a touch typist, so that may be the reason. I was going to buy the Stowaway, but decided on the GoType for my Visor because of the $30 price difference and the other $30 I will save not having to but an extra cradle, since the GoType includes a cable to connect to the computer.

Maybe I'll buy the Stowaway later
