Angry busted touchscreens...

busted my touchscreen arrrrggggg......
I went to a number of "replacement" touchsreen sites and found that my prism isnt listed with the rest of the touchscreen replacements.
Is their any difference between say the visor pro touchscreen and the prism?

colour? wiring interfaces to handle colour?

www.gethightech.com is supposed to be carrying replacement screens for the Prism in the near future. you might want to contact them to see if you can get a date out of them.

if you don't want to wait, i think your only other alternative is to send it to handspring for replacement, or else find someone selling with a broken prism and intact screen that you can buy for spare parts.

Colour wiring? Nooooo

No, the digitizer is the glass part that provides x and y coordinates to the processor. It is independant from the color display and rests in a thin metal framework between the display and the plastic case.

I also have a busted prism touch-screen.
They look like they should be interchangeable but at gethightech the listings specifically say they aren't. Like, it works for a slew of visor models except the prism. Cable routing maybe? It couldn't be the screen itself because they both do the exact same thing.
I'll keep looking.
