Unhappy

Maybe I'm getting neurotic about this, but I was examining my cover this morning and I think it may be developing a crack straight across on the bottom where the little tab with the two pegs extends out. It also looks like a line from the mold--can't tell for sure. But there's no line like that across the top tab.

Please, someone, look at your cover and tell me if yours has a mold line running across there. I've been lifting up on the top tab when I put the cover on/off due to the springboard slot crack problem. I wonder if that has stressed the bottom tab.

Also, the back of my case has crumbled (at the very top of the ridged area where the back of the case overlaps the springboard cover). I decided to wait for a while to see if they start coming out with improved cases before I ask for an RMA--why just get another one with the same problem.

My problem with these defects is that I've noticed that while vendors are tending to expect the consumer to be flexible about products with minor defects, they tend to expect non-defective, 100% perfect payment; no defects in the payment are ever acceptable, and I'm getting to the point where I want a product free of defects in return for my payment free of defects.

I too have a crack at the top of my case, at the ridged area at the top of the Springboard slot. My concern is that modules will not fit tightly if the retaining wall continues to disappear.

Cool

Ggrozier, For your first question:

That IS a line from the mold. Don't worry.

Thanks, it's good to know I'm not the only one with this little chip off that springboard retainer slot (mine is actually a little chip that broke off and not a crack).

Wonder why there's a mold line going across the bottom tab and not the top one.

Happy visoring to all!
