Question good cases for Visor/WWDL

I have a VPro and the SprintPCS Wireless Web Digital Link. The best I have found for a case is the Handspring visorphone case, but its not perfect b/c you have to take the Visor out to use it.

Has anyone else with the WWDL come up with any solutions to the neverending search for a good case?

Thanks,
phurwitz

If memory serves correctly, there is a Vaja Visor+Visorphone case you can get at www.vajacases.com - It won't fit the Prism, though.

The Active Armor case www.activearmor.com has recently been approved to be used with the VisorPhone

terrysalmi,

I am specifically looking for something to fit my SprintPCS WWDL. The developer of the Active Armor case posted that his case will not fit the WWDL.

Is there anyone out there with the WWDL who has found a case they like?

Thanks,
phurwitz

The Digital Link is slightly larger than the VisorPhone so it won't work with the ActiveArmor case because the top section of the module is as wide as the Visor.

The E&B case for the Visorphone will work with slight modification.

good cases for Visor/WWDL Update???

I'm thinking I may start using the WWDL with my VPro as my primary cell phone. I'm really excited about eliminating a device from my everyday carry around luggage. The only reason I haven't started already is the lack of a rugged case for the WWDL+VPro.

Since the last post on this topic was in May, and since HP started giving these away for free, I was wondering if anyone has any updates on cases they've been using for the WWDL+VPro.

Sorry, I made a little mistake in using acronyms. I used VP to indicate Visor Pro, not Prism. Hope I didn't offend anyone Not sure if there's a real difference when talking about these cases though. Sorry for the confusion.

Good question. I thought that HS's case would be the best and eventhough they say it will work with the DL, I wonder.

It looks to me that the VP's antenna is on the opposite side than the DL. I'm sure the leather case won't work, but the sport case might. Problem is, it's going to cost you about $13 - $15 in shipping/return shipping to find out.

With as many of these phones as must be going out the door, I'd hope someone will have the answer.

Vaja acually does have now a case that works with Visor Prism/VisorPhone combo. Here is the link. http://www.vajacases.com/pda_eng.htm

I am planning on getting it, I just need to raise enough money. It is very expensive but it looks really nice. This is prob the best case you can get for Prism/vphone combo.
