This is only my third day of using my Visor, and I have run into a major problem. When I hotsync, my computer actually freezes.

This has happened once or twice before ever since I installed Palm Desktop, but now that I have installed Avantgo, I simply cannot hotsync anymore without the computer freezing. I uninstalled Avantgo from my hard drive already, and deleted all Avantgo items from my Visor, but the problem persists. I can see that when I hotsync, Avantgo still shows up, and this is where everything freezes and connection with the computer stops. I tried taking Avantgo from the conduit setup, but it's not even listed.

I've tried a soft reset--no dice.

Please help!

Try uninstalling (don't just delete) the desktop software and then reinstalling it. That might do the trick.

Also, I had problems with avantgo where somehow the serial port got changed. I had to HARD reset the visor to get this corrected.
