Using Avantgo with Thinmodem Plus??

Hey everyone:
I just received a Thinmodem Plus for Christmas and I am using Avantgo as my brouser. I have no problems brousing with Avantgo even on the yahoo and mobile.yahoo pages. I am trying to get my yahoo account E mail on my visor but I keep hitting dead ends. Any info would be great. Thanks guys.

Jake

I changed my Yahoo account into a POP account and use Eudora to check it. Works like a charm.

When you login to your Yahoo mail account, click Options. Look for POP Access & Forwarding and click on it. Select Web and POP Access and follow the instructions.

Gents:
Thanks a ton. I went onto Yahoo and got the settings and access for the POP service, then I was able to use the One-Touch Mail program that came with the Thin-modem Plus. I am using Avantgo as my brouser the the One-Thouch for my E Mail. Works great. Thanks again.

Well, I thought everything was great. I am receiving mail but not sending mail. The little program or something doesn't like the outgoing server (smtp.mail.yahoo.com)

Back to the drawing board.

As someone earlier mentioned, download the Eudora Suite and use it with your Yahoo e-mail. The Eudora Suite will provide you with a web browser. You may or may not want to use it. My suggestion is to install it and give it a try. If you don't like it, just delete it. My choice for the Handspring handhelds is Blazer.

Good luck.

Who is your ISP? I use Earthlink, and I have to send mail with their server "mail.earthlink.net"

EarthLink has instituted a new policy called "Port 25 blocking." Anyone logged into an EarthLink access number or Broadband connection will only be able to send mail through EarthLink mail servers.
more info: http://help.earthlink.net/port25/

If you are not using ELN, maybe your ISP has something similar.
