-- Stowaway Visor support not reliable? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=8373)
I looked at it and found that the spring can't be it. When I pull the holder out, it does spring up... and it does hold it. It just isn't very stable.
I have toyed with putting some type of tape of the back of the visor to "latch" above and not fall down. But, if this helps anyone in their "sleuth"-ing. The Visor clips on the two clips, and the black plastic springs up to leverage against the back. Unlike the Palm Stowaway this has to direct points that touch the back (the Palm has two rails that support the back). I have included a graphic that shows how it falls. Any help I would greatly appreciate, even if say that your stowaway doesn't look this mine.

I am sitting here in class transcribing notes from a discussion, when all of the sudden (no surprise though), my Handspring loses its hold and falls down because the plastic support has nothing to grip to. IS THIS ONLY ME?

good. thank you for responding...
what I am saying is that when i pull out the support mechanism from the keyboard and the plastic piece springs up... that is the piece that is giving me the problems.
the piece is pulled out, the plastic support springs up and I connect my Visor to the two "finger" connecters and then it rests on the plastic support. while typing the plastic support folds down because it is awkwardly support something that it has no grasp to... just a smooth diagonal surface.

I am going to illustrate this better by photographs. I hope to have them in the next day or so.
I am kind of upset, I have had it for over a couple months and will no longer be able to return it.
Maybe I will just contact Targus.
