-- Best After Market Stylus??? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=3419)

Question

I have ordered a case from Devian, the DVP3M and there is a space for a stylus.

I need some view points: what would you all recomend as the best aftermarket stylus?

It needs to be about 5" or less to fit in the case. I want something that feels a little more pen like than the plastic stick that comes with the Visor. It need not fit in the stylus silo on the Visor.

So what say you?

I've read nothing but good things about the PDA Panache custom visor stylus. Apparently it has a heavier weight which makes it feel more like a "real" writing utensil. It is still small enough to fit in the standard silo, so perhaps it isnt quite what you are looking for.

On a related note, I've been having a heckuva time placing an order with PDA Panache. First it was backordered when I placed my order. A few days later I got an email saying they had lost my order. I called (no website this time) and placed my order and followed that up with a confirmation email. I have yet to hear anything....remind you of another company? hehe.

My favorite Stylus to this point would be my Y&C Pen that included (standard) a blue, black and red ink cartridges and a .5mm pencil.

Franklin Covey gave me the Stylus refill, and I promptly removed the Red Ink catridge.

Instead of having several sliders like the Pentopia (which I had), this has only one slider (very top) and the cartridge given is based on the angle of the pen.

It is much more solid than the Pentopia and it hasn't broken yet. My Pentopia took one tumble to the floor and the pen catridge would not come out anymore.

Anyway, I picked it up for $40 at the Franklin Covey store. They have similar pens at OfficeMax for about $10 cheaper. The stylus refill at Franklin covey is generally $2.
