Last night I used my GoType for a document in WordSmith. I have only had my GoType for a week and last night was the first time I used it for a major project. I always leave the GoType application on my Visor enabled and the beam receive on. I know that leaving the beam on will use more battery power, but what about leaving GoType enabled?

I had about 75% of my batteries left last night when I put things away and when I turned my Visor on this morning I had 7% left and got a warning that my batteries were almost dead.

Should I be disabling GoType and my beam receive when I am finished? Thanks.

GoType

I have a GoType and leave it enabled all the time. It makes no difference to my battery usage. As for battery drain when using the keyboard, it does not seem to have a large drain, but I have not actually measured it.
