I'd like to see one. this module interests me, but so far i havn't seen any reviews anywhere....

If you just want to see a photo see here or here Some people have reviewed theirs, search the discussions for Handcam.

thorin - I received a review unit 3 days ago and am currently working withthe unit still.. (bugs need to be worked out etc..)

Don't expect a review though before finals! It'll come around early to late febuary.. sorry!

Reviewing a product like this is going to be really difficult, as the camera only takes pictures at 640x480 resolution; in a nutshell, the pictures suck (in comparison to the one megapixel cameras that you can readily get for the same price). And not only is the resolution low, there is no flash, so you are limited as to where you can take a decent photo.

There are certainly applications where the Eyemodule fits a need, but from my vantagepoint, I'd much rather have a stand-alone $150 camera with flash and a small CompactFlash card than an Eyemodule with a resolution level that was last considered "cool" back in 1997.

Give me a one megapixel Eyemodule with a little flash unit and an MMC slot for picture storage and I will reconsider the product-line.
