Cool

I've been searching for one for while that would handle alot of my electronics but the price point on these are a little ridiculous. I'm personally hoping for a springboard module that will allow my Visor to be my remote control. (This way I can say goodbye to all 6 of my remotes.) Maybe even have functions that can group control functions for certain things (i.e. play a dvd movie in 5.1 surround.) What do you think?

Talking

Want an good learning universal remote???
Go to X10.com and buy their 8-in-1 learning remote for usually $25 (reg $49 but almost always at half price)
I have two of them and they work great!!!

Make sure you get the 8-in-1 NOT the 6-in-one NOR their new one (forgot the name of it)

Yes the new one you are referring to is the Ultimate Remote. That one looks nice but is not learnable.

Get the 8-in-1. http://www.x10.com/products/x10_ur24a.htm

I have the mouse remote but am going to get one of these. It looks good. I am also into the X10 stuff so will use the X10 part as well but you do not have to own or use any X10 stuff to use this as a normal remote.

Thumbs up

The aforementioned PacificNeotek currently makes the OmniRemote program, and a IR remote Springboard is in the works. If you ask them, I believe they will e-mail you when it is available. No pricing that I know of yet, but if you're an existing Omniremote customer, I believe you get a discount off the Springboard.
