USB cable for visor - not working
hello members
i have a visor deluxe which i bought with a usb cradle.
i wanted to have the ability to use the visor at the office too
(the cradle is at home), and so, i bought also a usb cable.
but, the cable doesn't work.
i check the cable and it is ok electrically.
the visor changes to the hot sync screen but the computer doesn't.
i tried many solutions but none did work out.
please tell me what to do...

Note: I'm putting "work" and "home" in quotes to differentiate them.
* does your "work" cradle work on your "home" computer? or vice-versa?
(the thought being, just because the cradle is OK electrically, doesn't mean it will operate properly; this is a way to find out, because the computer doesn't care what cradle)
* Are both "home" and "work" computers using the same operating system? for that matter, is the basic hardware setup the same (both cradles going to a USB hub, for example, or a direct connection)?
* did you have any problems when installing the software?
* for that matter (and yes, I expect you did, but just checking) did you install the software on the "work" computer?
* Does the PIM you're synching to on the "work" computer know that the Visor exists? have the user name, etc?
* have you tried anything mentioned in this thread? or this one?
