VdX cheaper

HS has just lowered the price for the "old" VdX to $129.- incl. shipping! I'm sure the usual suspects such as Staples will follow suite. At this price, I'm dissing my Neo-desires and go with the VdX if it saves me $70.- (35% less).

They must not have many $99 reconditioned ones left. Who would not spend the extra $30 to go from "as is" to full warranty?

I'd probably still go with a Neo/Platinum... I personally do notice the speed difference. Also, the Platinum (not sure about the Neo, too many new models out there) has OS3.5 and 4-bit grayscale support, so you (I mean "I") can use some more software and play some more games.
