Thumbs down

I just picked up a Visor Platinum and of the four applications at the bottom, the one on the right (Memo) doesn't work.

Pressing it doesn't do anything.

I was wondering if there was a quick solution, or should I just take it back for a replacement unit.

Cheers.

First thing I would do is make sure it is assigned right. The buttons can be assigned to applications. Goto PREFS from your main application launcher screen. Select "Buttons" from the drop-down menu on the upper right corner. Check what application is assigned to the button that doesnt seem to work. If it is assigned to Memo Pad, assign it to something you know works. If the button still don't work I'd guess it is damaged.

Thumbs down Thanks

I have assigned the button. When the Visor is off, pressing the button doesn't turn it on (like the other three do). I'm assuming it's faulty, thus going back. I was just hoping I was wrong.

Unluckly, it sounds like it is.. DON'T WORRY! Handspring custumor support is the BEST! and they will send you overnight a new one, and a prepaid package to send the old one back. I was scared when my Plat. broke, but they were so good.
