Cool

For those of you with Philips Headed screws in your glasses...the screwdriver is a life saver. Took my glasses off and the screw popped right out, but having my trusty VPL with me solved the problem. Don't know if it will fit all screws on all glasses..but just a heads up if the situation should ever arise for you as well.

When I got a new stylus (actually winning it at Visorcentral ) that was one of the things I missed. Otherwise, a new stylus is much better than the one that the visor comes with.

Here's a question:
If it voids your warranty to open your Visor, why would the company include a screwdriver in it's stylus.
Possible answers:
1. They want you to be tempted to void your warranty.
2. They assume only people with poor vision will buy Visors and wanted them to be able to easily adjust their glasses.
3. They had an extra 4 cents to spend on the styli and the toothpick idea got voted down.
4. Macguyver owns alot of Handspring stock.
Just a thought,
Michael

Arrow For Eyeglasses

I think the screwdriver is actually thre for people with Eyeglasses. Most of whom would not be able to read their Visor in the first place without glasses.

I vote for the toothpick idea mike, boy would THAT have been super handy huh?

Visor Saves Fishing Trip

Friday I went fishing in Galveston Bay. Having just lubed my reel the night before, I expect flawless performance. Not! I waded into the bay about 1/2 mile from my boat. Then I discoverd two small screws under the spool were loose. I probably failed to tighten them properly at home. Tiny reel screwdrivers do not make the tool box list on my boat. Fortunately, my Platinum rested in the storage compartment on my boat. Using the phillips screwdriver, I tightened the two screws. The reel worked perfectly the rest of the day. I wish I could credit the Visor with a record catch, but at least my trip was not cut short due to loose screws (in the reel). Thanks, HS, for the screwdriver. I'll never fish without my Visor again!
