Greetings all,

Is anyone currently performing IR Hotsync's with their laptops? I have a Visor Deluxe and a HP OmniBook 6000 Laptop. I have the IR port enabled (in BIOS) and set to "auto".

What exactly do I have to do to each device to get this to work? I've messed with this once before on a different laptop and gave up. I have downloaded the IR patch from Palm, but that is as far as I got.

Oh, and I am running Windows 2000 Profesional.

I need to do away with the cradle when I travel!!

At least I can stop pulling my hair out.

I noticed that Palm recently issued and update that will allow Palm devices to IR sync with Window 2000. I have no idea whether this updater works with the Visor, but am curious as I just bought a notebook this weekend and would love to be able to IR sync.

Does anyone have any idea if this updater can be installed on the Visor?
