I just got my copy via email of the Handspring Newsletter. Nice links and the proverbial apology. I'll hold comments until I see the second generation. The first has little new information.

At the risk of turning this into yet another 'Blame Handspring' thread, HS might have been better off using the newsletter mailing list for damage control during the initial craziness. It would have been a useful way to reassure customers that things were being sorted out. Might have saved some of the hysterical ear-bashing and 2+ hour phone queues.

It's been a long two weeks since shipping began...Early notification would have been a great boon. But bygones...

Looks like Handspring cannot even get their mailing lists in order (let alone their order lists). I subscribed to their newsletter on Day 1 and it looks like I am not on their mailing list!

newsletter yet .. hmmmm

I also subscribed on the first day but didn't receive the newsletter until I re-subscribed. Then it came the next day.

I subscribed twice, although not in the last week. Never got anything.

What do you need the newsletter for?
