Just thought I'd toss out a few words on the Palm Glove I picked up shortly after getting my Visor DX (almost two months ago, now).

Now, it's really designed for Palms, but I've had no problem at all with using it for my Visor.

The Good: Great quality. The exterior is the same neoprene they use for their wetsuits, with hard rubber for the interior and spine. The zipper is also big and sturdy, and doesn't look to me like it'll be binding up any time soon. The case is a little bit stiff, but nowhere near as hard as something like the Ti Slider. It does have a small amount of padding, which has held up through a couple short falls already.
It also comes with a nice clear slot for an ID card, and a larger pocket for other things.

The Bad: Like I said before, it's not initially designed with the Visor in mind. It uses a strip of velcro which would be hard to use without covering the Springboard slot. But if you put the velcro on the cover, you can easily snap it into place either face down or face up. You can take the velcro off, but I wouldn't do it very often, since it would probably lose it's adhesion.
The two pockets, while useful, aren't quite enough if you want this unit to replace your wallet. There's nothing to organize credit cards, unless you wanted to stack them all in behind your ID.

Conclusion: Since I don't really need the cover for anything, I don't mind leaving it secured to the case. I also like the appearance of the unit, and it can come in handy if it suddenly starts raining on you, though I haven't tried to take it diving yet. Also, it's a soft and comfortable thing to hold onto, which you'll usually be doing since it doesn't have a carrying strap or belt clip. But that's not a problem if you have large pockets or a briefcase.

I picked up mine at CompUSA, and I've also seen them on the Palm website for about $25. Despite the few (relatively minor) drawbacks, this is a very high quality product, and I doubt I'll be looking for anything else in the near future.

I found one other problem with my palm case. since the visor is a bit longer then any of the other palms, one of the seams on the lid can press on the down scroll button if you don't mount the visor as high as possible. if you want to keep using the cover that came with it as extra protection, you won't have this problem.

(having the downscroll button held down causes alarms to be cut short, and may calse the visor to not auto power off.)

On a case like this, do you really need to use velcro, or could you just place the visor in it? A lot of these cases look good, but I really hate velcro.
