Question Junk E-Mail Poll

Hi All,
Here's a FUN survey:

How much "JUNK" E-Mail would you
say you receive each day (un-welcome
messages to your Inbox)???

First, I have way too many email accounts (not counting those that I created wfrom my own domain), but the junk mail comst mostly from MSN and ATT accounts.

I'm trying out Mailwasher to see it it does any good. Even if it doesn't do any good with spam, it lets you delete the message before you download them.

My Treo 600 is my phone, my PDA, my watch, and my MP3 player. Oh yeah, I take a picture once in a while with it. Convergence is such a great thing.

My work email gets very little because they have filters in place. My wife's account gets huge amounts of email. This actually only started recently. She sells stuff on eBay and is very careful with her email account but some guy developed software that mines eBay for email addresses. Now it is 10 to 15 "be a real man with Manimizer", "see teens being naughty" and "the new Ginsu 2000 at the lowest prices ever". It is incredibly annoying!

By the way, I recommend Spam Killer. It is what I finally had to get after the onslaught. It works pretty good.

Surprisingly, 1-2 a week. I use a yahoo account for signing up at places. Feel free to spam it. [email protected]

Back when I still used Hotmail, about a hundred a day.
I presently maintain two yahoo adresses (one's noted in my profile; the other at the pathetic webpage), two mac.com addresses (that I don't use much), and a "private" address that I only give out to family and close friends.
Combined, I get about five a week, in a "bad" week. more likely one or two.
But I'm probably lucky.

I'm a 21oroverer. I've got 2 Hotmail accounts (Signed up for a second, and before I gave anyone the address started getting porn spam), and a new local real POP3 account. I get most of it on my old address hotmail, some on my newer one, but NONE on the brand new one. It's great!

Several times a day actually. I'm the contact for a couple of domain names.

I once signed up for a hotmail account, and went back to check something on it about 3 hours after I created it (and I had not given the address out to anyone yet) and found 17 new messages, all spam!

Hotmail sucks.

Unhappy

Well, I've had the same business e-mail address since 1984; and I posted a lot to Usenet during the 80s. So my e-mail address is out there for harvesting by every spammer imaginable.

Difficult to anticipate technology changes 20 years in advance.

Angry Attached Junk

Hi All,

I really hate the binary attach file to
some of this Junk E-Mail also.
They are wasting my on-line time.
How many folks out there is getting
sick of this nonsense also?
