I noticed on the Palm Gear site a product (called "Clean Screen") developed by Tim Warner that polishes the screen on a Handspring Visor (or Palm) and can remove minor scratches.

Has anyone tried this product?

Does it work? How well?

Hmm. This is what I get at PalmGear:

"Your Search for: "clean screen" returned the following results. No records matched this search criteria. Please try your Search again."

Hitting the "Search" option on the main Discussion Board page and using search terms "clean screen" yielded 30 threads.

I didn't check them all, but in thread http://discussion.visorcentral.com/...TML/000284.html 3 writers (not a pimp/architech in the bunch) express disappointment in this product. Somebody else reported success w/ Turtle Wax Auto Polishing.

Your milage may vary.

For some reason, I could not get to the discussion link that John had posted above.

I tried Screen Clean on my Visor and my PalmPilot. It did absolutely nothing for either screen. I polished and I polished and I polished ... I'm sure you get the message

Are you serious about using the Turtile car wax? Is it the liquid form? I've tried the screen cleaner and it does smell and feel like a liquid car wax only less concentrated. Don't know if the full strength will work. But for very shallow scratches it helped a bit, it made it less obvious, you have to look at it from an angle before you will notice the darn scratch mark. The screen clean will also leave a sort of smooth feel after buffing it.
