I noticed that my Visor makes a humming noise when the backlight is on. It's faint and I didn't notice it until I turned it on when I was in a dark quiet room. Does anyone have a Visor that makes the same noise?

Thanks
Steve

Mine does the same. I think that it has something to do with the sensory system. Mine does it even with the Backlight off (even fainter, though). The sensory system of some screens work by projecting high-frequency sound waves across the screen and triangulating the disturbance to detect where it was touched. There is no way to fix this without buying a different type of screen that might not be supported.

The humming is caused by the units power supply. It is normal.

Yeah, I like mine better, too. Less realistic.

Wink

Ok, the high frequency sensory power supply.

Question

I'd just really like to know how you guys noticed it in the first place. I went to a quiet room and put my ear to my visor and turned on the backlight, and yup, it's normal (at least mine does it too). But I never would have noticed it without you guys.

Mine must be little louder. I don't have to hold it to my ear to hear it in a dark and quiet room.
