I know that Palm device can use Pilotnet or Mocha ppp to connect internet via thier hotsync serial cradle.
What about USB cradle of visor device.
Which software I can use or other tips...?

The only way to do it with a usb cradle is to use Linux.

No Win9X/2K solution yet.

A Serial cradle works though.

How do you get a serial connection to work?...and please dont say mochappp, because it doesnt recognize the way a visor uses serial, therefore doesnt make a connection..

Mochappp will work with your visor and serial cradle. A friend
of mine has it working but I personally haven't been able to figure it out.
Here are his instructions...
1. Install Win VNC and MochaPPP on your desktop machine.

2. Set up Win VNC passwords and other settings.

3. Install Palm VNC on your visor.

4. Start MochaPPP on your desktop, connect to it using your visor.

5. Once connected start PalmVNC and put in the IP address of your desktop machine that is running WinVNC.

OK, ill give it a try when i get to work tomorrow...

Im not really sure why I want to surf the net on my visor...i guess its a "if i can do it - must do it" type thing

Some folks do more than surf the net. This becomes a powerful setup when you can access your home computer. I know of one gentleman that is using this setup to control his home theater MP3 Jukebox from his visor, also in his kitchen to access his recipe database on his desktop machine. I think Via omniremote module but don't remember. I do remember him saying he uses this set up in his car connected to his laptop in the trunk. He can check his e-mail and glance at the internet stuck in traffic. Anyway, take care.
