Did you noticed that Handspring gave a shipping month - but never a shipping year!

In no statement it said 'Oct/99' - did you notice that? They like to keep all options open!

I stopped waiting yesterday after I got an good offer for an used IIIx with 8mb RAM. I took it.

After playing a bit with it I got eager to try the Palm V, the smaller size should made it ideal to fit in a shirt pocket.

The cost is $450 but there are reports at http://www.palmstation.com of people already buying the Palm Vx (4 times the memory of Palm V with OS 3.3) at Office Depot.

Yeah, I've been checking my email really often and also checking visorcentral for any glimmer of a confirmation on 1)ship dates, 2) email confirmations, and 3) updated Handspring websites.

As for when do I think email confirmations will go out? Well, according to their rep at the Customer Care center, it should be next week (I ordered my Visor Deluxe on 9.15, so 3 weeks out is next week). We'll see.
