Prism/Visorphone not recharging
Odd. Right after I tried out a car charger for my prism, it wouldn't charge when put in the HotSync cradle or the wall charger. After doing a soft-reset it actually started recharging properly. Today I noticed that my phone battery is DEAD and the Prism itself is fully charged.
So now Handspring wants me to pay their tech support to find out why their products are faulty. What a load of you know what. Has anyone else noticed that after inserting a car charger you cant charge your prism any other way?

No, but similar experience
No, I do not have the visor phone, but I did have a similar experience with HS tech help. They wanted a credit card number before they would help me diagnose why my digitizer went on the fritz. I was certain that it would need repair so I was not very excited about giving them a credit card number. We were at a stand still. I figured, it's a work-owned PDA, I'll just get a new one. But if my wife's Deluxe ever needs tech help, I'll try to be patient instead and write an email to their their tech help folks. What I did get from the tech help representative was that email tech help is still free - just not interactive. You might try sending your question to [email protected] or http://support.handspring.com/esupp...sTSCaseNew.jsp.

Me Too!@
You are not alone! I noticed that with mine too, about 2 months ago. At the time i didn't associate my prism battery charging problem with my car adaptor charger. One day i had to do a soft reset and waala. Problem solved!!! I have not had a problem since, and i too charge my visorphone and prism together.

I don't use a car charger either, but I have had a few situations where the VP was not charging correctly. Usually the red charging light would stay on even after removing the device from the cradle. Sometimes the VP would not power on. In all cases, removing the VP battery for 5-10 seconds cleared it up.
