-- A case for all your Visor needs (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=9586)
Has anyone found a case (pref. nylon and >$80) that would be able to hold a Visor, a Stowaway Keyboard, plus modules and some business cards/batteries? The thing most like what I am looking for is the Targus Leather Organizer under the PDA/Handheld cases section. Anyone know of a better case. It doesn't need to be ultra-protective or anything of that nature, it just needs to hold all my Visor stuff, my accesories, and my springboard modules. (Sorta like a Game Boy case- the kind that holds a GB, games, manuals, lights etc.)
Raichu,
I use a RhinoPak 2000 and it can carry everything you described, especially if the springboards are the standard size. There have been other discussions on this, so I suggest you do a search for "RhinoPak 2000" on the discussion board and see what comes up.
Thanks! The RhinoPak 3000 seems to be just right for all my stuff, as the 2000 is a little too small. Thanks for telling me this, and this will go on my X-mas list if I don't get it before then. Thanks again!
You might be surprised with the 2000. I can put my Stowaway, a stand-along MP3 player with bud headphones, my Visor, and eyemodule, a backup module and 2 extra sets of batteries in my 2000.
Funny story... I ordered my RhinoSkin from handango because they save you 20% or someting (at least they did). When I checked on a slight misrepresentation on their site (free RhinoSkin 2000 with 3000), I was told it was shipped already but they still couldn't honor it. I then get an email saying it was on backorder and it will take a couple days. So I fought with them saying that their website never noted that and I wanted overnight shipped. Oh yeah, I didn't get that either. So, low and behold, I was a little miffed but I eventually received it within a week of order.
I went home for lunch the day I was supposed to receive it and true to life it showed up on my doorstep during lunch. When I was leaving for lunch, my hands were full with the RhinoSkin, my visor (unprotected) and work bag. I dropped the Visor and it cracked. The irony of the case to protect it being the culprit of not being able to carry everything only worsened the situation.
Ok... now to the write-up. I love my RhinoSkin. I have my SprintPort, backup module, three sets of batteries, extra stylus, phone cord, business cards, Targus keyboard, and my Visor in its own Extreme-Limits case. On the outside, I have a pencil and pen for convenience and the front netting with checks to deposit, stamps, and some parking change (you need that in downtown Chicago). Nothing could be nicer than this pack, except the consistent comments I get of people calling it a "man-purse".

what?<br>
the problem I have with my Rhino 2000 is that it looks like if I put stuff in the left hand side, said stuff could potentially scratch the visors screen. Has anyone had this problem ? I cut a piece of overhead transparency to use as a shield, but it's awkward. I worry that a regular screen protector won't be enough to protect the screen if something is pressing against it for long enough...
My Visor inside the Rhinoskin has its own case. I highly recommend doing this, and check out the Extreme-Limits case.
